The show appears as the result of the work that the artist has been developing with Perve Gallery since 2018. Critically acclaimed, Javier Félix has been present in several countries, art fairs and exhibitions, between Lisbon, Madrid, London and Bilbao. The artist was part of the Cycle of Celebration of the Centenary of Cruzeiro Seixas, in which, and over the course of a year, he created individually and in collaboration with the artists Ivan Villalobos (1975, Chile) and Ivo Bassanti (1979, Portugal), works of tribute to the surrealist master.

The disOrganism & the Shadow gives special emphasis to the production developed by the artist in the last three years, a reflective period of the plurality of his work, which encompassed various media and techniques, including drawing, painting, sculpture and installation. The essence of Javier Félix's artistic work is the human body, sometimes only suggested, as a fragment or metamorphosis between the sensitive field and plastic experimentation.
