Investec Cape Town Art Fair - 2026

Perve Galeria presents a landmark curated project at the Investec Cape Town Art Fair 2026, taking place from 19 to 22 February in Cape Town, South Africa. The exhibition opens with an exclusive VIP Preview on 19 February, followed by public access from 20 to 22 February.

The presentation unites voices from the Lusophone world with a poignant tribute to contemporary Ukrainian resilience. It features four artists from Mozambique, São Tomé and Príncipe, and Portugal/Canada — Teresa Roza d'Oliveira, Renée Gagnon, José Chambel, and João Donato — whose work explores memory, identity, and cross-cultural dialogue.

Complementing this ensemble is the work of Bogdan Gulyay, a Ukrainian artist who continues to live and create in Kyiv, offering a powerful reflection on resistance and the enduring human spirit.

This marks the first presentation of a project of this nature in South Africa, highlighting Perve Galeria's ongoing commitment to fostering global artistic exchanges and bringing underrepresented voices to new audiences. Visitors to the gallery's B3 booth can experience a dialogue between histories, geographies, and contemporary concerns, making this presentation a significant and timely moment in Perve Galeria's international program.
