Colectivo Multimédia Perve

The Colectivo Multimédia Perve is a non-profit cultural association dedicated to the promotion, dissemination, research, and preservation of modern and contemporary art. Since its establishment, it has maintained an ongoing programme of activity focused on supporting artistic creation, safeguarding cultural heritage, and fostering dialogue across different geographies, generations, and disciplines, contributing to greater public awareness of and access to the arts.

Throughout its history, the Colectivo has organised a wide range of initiatives, including exhibitions, research projects, publications, conferences, symposiums, artists' residencies, and educational programmes. These initiatives are frequently developed in collaboration with artists, curators, researchers, universities, museums, foundations, and other cultural institutions, both in Portugal and internationally, fostering networks of cooperation and cultural exchange.

One of the areas that has distinguished the Colectivo's work is its research into and promotion of artistic contexts that have often been underrepresented, with particular attention to the cultural relationships established within the Lusophone world. In this context, it has undertaken research, conservation, and dissemination projects involving significant artistic archives and collections, helping to promote the recognition of artists and movements that have played a fundamental role in the history of modern and contemporary art.

Alongside these activities, the Colectivo Multimédia Perve continues to develop new cultural and artistic projects that reinforce its commitment to innovation, inclusion, and the democratisation of access to culture. Through a diverse programme of activities and partnerships at both national and international levels, it seeks to create spaces for reflection, dialogue, and participation, affirming art as a vehicle for knowledge, the preservation of memory, and social transformation.
